Luke 7:8 “For I also am a man set under authority, having under me soldiers, and I say unto one, Go and he goeth and to another, Come and he cometh and to my servant, Do this, and he doeth it.”

…From yesterday…

The reason things are probably not obeying you is because you’re not obeying Him. When you obey Him, every other thing will obey you.

Jesus said, “For I came down from heaven, not to do mine own will, but the will of him that sent me” (John 6:38). That’s a man under authority!

Jesus completely submitted his will to that of the Father, remember that “exousia” means delegated power. It means right, privilege given to someone by another, to fully act on his behalf.

Even you as a man will not give power to someone you can’t fully trust. You cannot send someone to a place as your representative when you know he is disobedient.

Hear this:

2 Corinthians 10:6 “And having in a readiness to revenge all disobedience, when your obedience is fulfilled.”

2 Corinthians 10:6 “Being ready to give punishment to whatever is against his authority, after you have made it clear that you are completely under his control.” (BBE)

Be a man under authority. Perhaps why demons and difficult issues of life are not obeying you is because you’re not a man under authority. You cannot be disobeying God, your parents, the spiritual authorities over you and expect issues of life to hear you.

Jesus obeyed God to the fullest even unto death, no wonder demons tremble when they see him and hear his nane.

Your own obedience must be complete before you can bring demons, principalities and powers into the obedience of Jesus. A disobedient man has no voice in the spirit realm!

The centurion understood divine authority because he has set himself under authority as well. He has mastered the act of obedience to the fullest and therefore make bold to ask Jesus to speak the Word only.
