WORTHY-2
Luke 7:4 “And when they came to Jesus, they besought him instantly, saying That he was worthy for whom he should do this:”

…From yesterday…

It was indeed a strange prayer, and the pastor prepared himself to die! But to the surprise of everybody, the woman who had been bed ridden and very sickly started getting well; that same day she sat up after several months and within days she was fully healed.

Doctors checked her and discovered she had a brand new liver! Till date they couldn’t explain what happened. Her liver is very healthy and guess what? The pastor is equally doing well.

The man of God said after he prayed that prayer, he heard the Holy Spirit say, “I’ll heal her by giving her a brand new liver. Keep your own liver because I still need you here!” Can you beat that?

In our focal scripture, the Greek word for worthy is translated to mean “deserving” and “due reward”. That’s very interesting to note. In order words, the elders told Jesus that he should heal this centurion’s servant as a “due reward” for the man’s service.
Friend, there is always a day of reward for your service in His kingdom. God won’t cheat any man. I have since discovered that the reward of heaven can be triggered by a dedicated follower of Jesus as long as he doesn’t give up.

Galatians 6:9 “And let us not be weary in well doing for in due season we shall reap if we faint not.”

Beloved, you sure have a due season and as long as you keep sowing, it will surely come. The most important thing is to give heaven a reason to release your lot. One account that always shock me when I read the Bible is that of King Hezekiah.

Isaiah 38:1 “In those days was Hezekiah sick unto death And Isaiah the prophet the son of Amoz came unto him, and said unto him, Thus saith the LORD, Set thine house in order for thou shalt die and not live”
