PRECIOUS THINGS-4
Luke 7:1 “Now when he had ended all his sayings in the audience of the people, he entered into Capernaum.”

Luke 7:2 “And a certain centurion’s servant, who was dear unto him, was sick, and ready to die”

…From yesterday…

If some servants don’t show up at work the heartbeat of their master races and they go looking for them. The boss even gives them a sick leave without them asking, while for some others in the same organization the only thing they get if they don’t show up at work is a query without questions asked.

Those are servants that always dodge work with the flimsiest and slightest excuse. As a matter of fact, the boss have been looking for a way to lay them off. If you claim to be born again, then you must become that precious and special servant both to God and men. You must up your game and become indispensable.

Your worth or value determines what comes to you. Wherever you find yourself, you must strive to be that servant who the master is willing to go all out for. Build a reputation of hard work, die hard commitment and excellence for yourself.

If we check your status with your boss, can he joyfully and without hesitation say you’re dear to him or her? Can your boss leave whatever he’s doing to go to the place of prayer just because of you? The centurion left his duty post and went after Jesus. In order words he started praying, fasting and probably doing all night for the sake of the precious servant.

The centurion was ready to do whatever it takes to keep this special servant alive and of course God honoured his faith by making Jesus step in at the nick of time.

Friend, when you enter this class of precious people, it wouldn’t matter how much the devil attacks you, you will come out unscathed.

I pray for you today; the devil will not steal what is dear to you, every attack on your treasure is thwarted now in Jesus name!
