PRECIOUS THINGS-3
Luke 7:1 “Now when he had ended all his sayings in the audience of the people, he entered into Capernaum.”

Luke 7:2 “And a certain centurion’s servant, who was dear unto him, was sick, and ready to die”

…From yesterday…

Hebrews 11:6 shows that a man can actually please God based on how he releases his faith. It also shows that you can be born again and not enjoy the best of God.

We also see from here (Hebrews 11:6) that God runs a reward system and each of us determines how much we draw from Him. You must know how to step up into that special place with God.

2Chronicles 16:9 “For the eyes of the LORD run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to shew himself strong in the behalf of them whose heart is perfect toward him…”

2Chronicles 16:9 “GOD is always on the alert, constantly on the lookout for people who are totally committed to him…”

Isaiah 26:3 “Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee.”

Your commitment to God and His course determines how much of His power and glory you experience. You step into the zone of “being dear” to God in the place of intimacy.

John 13:23 “Now there was leaning on Jesus’ bosom one of his disciples, whom Jesus loved”

This special disciple was of course John. We discovered he was so special to Jesus and knew him more than all others. On the cross Jesus handed over his mum to him and we also know from church history that John was not martyred. He has entered into the class of David, a man after God’s heart.

Friend, talking about being valuable is not just to God but also in your career, business and around your boss. If you don’t show up at work due to sickness, watch the disposition of your boss. If he doesn’t look for you by all means, then you have not entered into the class of “dear” servant.

To be continued…
