DESTINY HELPERS

DESTINY HELPERS
Exodus 17:12 “But Moses’ hands were heavy; and they took a stone, and put it under him, and he sat thereon; and Aaron and Hur stayed up his hands, the one on the one side, and the other on the other side; and his hands were steady until the going down of the sun.”

There is a scripture I love so much, permit me to share it with you:

Ecclesiastes 4:9 “Two are better than one; because they have a good reward for their labour.”

Ecclesiastes 4:10 “For if they fall the one will lift up his fellow: but woe to him that is alone when he falleth for he hath not another to help him up”

Ecclesiastes 4:9 “It’s better to have a partner than go it alone…” (MSG)

A wise man said, “If you want to go fast, go alone but if you want to go far, go with others”. The journey of life is like a relay race, no matter how good you are, you need a team. I’ve seen many people run the race of life solo and I’ve watched them crash as well. As long as we are in the tabernacle of flesh, there will always be times when we can make do with some encouragement.

The writer of Ecclesiastes was none other than the great King Solomon, the wisest man that ever lived. Upon all his wisdom he said, “Two are better than one”, he equally said, “…woe to him that is alone”. Those are very heavy statements.

Beloved, what would have happened if Aaron and Hur were not with Moses on that very day? Israel would have probably lost the battle.

God gave Moses the assignment but he required the support of others. Joshua had Caleb; David had his mighty men; Jesus had the twelve and Paul had Silas.

Friend, we must glean this lesson from the great Prophet Moses, it will be disastrous to try to run the race of life alone. Enough of trying to be Macho or Superman, go look for your Aaron and Hur!

Love you BiG
