Exodus 17: 10 “So Joshua did as Moses had said to him, and fought with Amalek: and Moses, Aaron, and Hur went up to the top of the hill.”

…From yesterday…

Disobedience and destruction are like Siamese twins, they’re always together.

Friend, don’t ever choose to learn by destruction, learn by obedience. Jonah was disobedient, he had to survive a storm, suffocation and the risk of been digested in the belly of a fish before he complied with instruction. Beloved, you might not be that “lucky”.

Exodus 17: 10 “So Joshua did as Moses had said to him…”

Deuteronomy 11:27 “A blessing, if ye obey the commandments of the LORD your God, which I command you this day:”

Deuteronomy 28:1 “And it shall come to pass, if thou shalt hearken diligently unto the voice of the LORD thy God, to observe and to do all his commandments which I command thee this day, that the LORD thy God will set thee on high above all nations of the earth:”

Deuteronomy 28:2 “And all these blessings shall come on thee, and overtake thee, if thou shalt hearken unto the voice of the LORD thy God.”

I have long discovered that the blessings of God are conditional. However, the condition is very simple, obedience. Full obedience to divine instruction earns us blessings.

God has indeed blessed us in heavenly places, but we need earthly obedience to connect to it!

God will not impose anything on us, we get to enjoy Him to the degree of our obedience to His instructions. Joshua obeyed the instruction of God through Moses and he discomfited Amalek (Exodus 17:13).

Friend, is the enemy “discomfiting” you in one area of life or the other? Why not check your obedience in that area? If you’re broke check your giving. Be sure you’re not flaunting an instruction somewhere.

Remember and never forget this advice from Paul:

2Corinthians 10:6 “And having in a readiness to revenge all disobedience, when your obedience is fulfilled”
