Exodus 17:9 “And Moses said unto Joshua, Choose us out men, and go out fight with Amalek: to morrow I will stand on the top of the hill with the rod of God in mine hand.”

…From yesterday…

Psalms 19:14 “Let the words of my mouth, and the MEDITATION OF MY HEART, BE ACCEPTABLE IN THY SIGHT, O LORD, my strength, and my redeemer”

Psalms 17:3 “Thou hast PROVED MINE HEART; thou hast visited me in the night; thou hast tried me, and shalt find nothing; I am purposed that my mouth shall not transgress”

Beloved, the state of your heart has a lot to do with you been selected or rejected. You might be thinking that it doesn’t matter because you are not aspiring to be a Pastor, Evangelist, Prophet et al but it’s beyond that. It has to do with our everyday life and even secular jobs.

The reason why some people will always be chosen in your place of work for “juicy” positions and offers is because of the nature of their hearts. This extends even to the type of customers that will patronize you and the people that will hang around you.

Permit me to share with you some types of heart that God works with; we will look at some hearts that He can’t work with as well and check the converse:

Psalms 14:1 “The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. They are corrupt they have done abominable works, there is none that doeth good.”

God cannot work with a man that does not believe in Him. A lot of people want great things from God but don’t even believe in His existence and ability. It will shock you to know that many people think God is a figment of the imagination of man and go to church to fulfil all righteousness. You may not say it out just as we saw in Psalms 14:1, the fool said it only in his heart but God heard it!

Are you convinced of the existence of God?

To be continued…

Love you BiG
