Job 18:10 “The snare is laid for him in the ground, and a trap for him in the way.”

Job 9:20 “If I justify myself, mine own mouth shall condemn me: if I say, I am perfect, it shall also prove me perverse”

…From yesterday…

When Paul showed up in church after his conversion, the whole church nearly scattered. Can you imagine a notable hired killer who murders only Christians showing up in your church next Sunday?

That was the state of Paul, he was castigated and discriminated against but rather than switch to self-condemnation he wrote Romans 8 for us!

He knew how to receive forgiveness. Paul forgave himself and moved on to become one of the greatest Apostles of all time. Bible scholars told us he was the one that took the position of Judas Iscarriot who died from self-condemnation, what an irony!

Note that God is the One that can condemn you, and even throw you into Hell but here is the good news:

Romans 8:34 “Who, then, will condemn them? Not Christ Jesus, who died, or rather, who was raised to life and is at the right side of God, pleading with him for us!” (GNB)

The One that has all the power to condemn you came down to take your place as the guilty, and died for you. He didn’t stop there, He has gone ahead interceding for you day and night.

You must know this truth and forgive yourself and move on to achieve your goals and dreams in life; be like Paul!

Luke 22:31 “And the Lord said Simon, Simon, behold Satan hath desired to have you, that he may sift you as wheat:”

Luke 22:32 “But I have prayed for thee, that thy faith fail not: and when thou art converted strengthen thy brethren.”

Prayer is a Master key against any satanic door and onslaught. Peter and Judas both “sold out Jesus”. They both betrayed him but while Judas self-condemn himself and finally committed suicide, Peter moved on from there.

To be continued…
