GOD’S OUTSTRETCHED HAND-2
Matthew 14:31 “And immediately Jesus stretched forth [his] hand, and caught him, and said unto him, O thou of little faith, wherefore didst thou doubt?”

…From yesterday…

Numbers 11:23 “The Lord said to Moses, Has the Lord’s hand (His ability and power) become short (thwarted and inadequate)? You shall see now whether My word shall come to pass for you or not” (AMP)

Beloved, what Jesus stretched out to Peter was more than just hand, it was “Power and Ability”. The ability and power of our God is sufficient to get us out of every pit or “sinking situation”.

Remember this:

Exodus 13:9 “And it shall be for a sign unto thee upon thine hand, and for a memorial between thine eyes, that the LORD’S law may be in thy mouth: for with a STRONG HAND hath the LORD brought thee out of Egypt.”

Exodus 14:8 “…the children of Israel went out with an HIGH HAND.”

Pharaoh held down the children of Israel for four hundred and thirty years in captivity but when the strong hand of God came on scene, Egypt gave way. In the same vein, no matter what is holding you down, the power and ability of God is here to deliver you.

Why are we not seeing the demonstration of the hand of God often?

Isaiah 59:1 “Behold, the LORD’S hand is not shortened that it cannot save neither his ear heavy that it cannot hear”

Isaiah 59:2 “But your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hid his face from you, that he will not hear”

The only challenge is iniquity. Sin limits the operation of God in the life of a man. Friend, holiness and righteousness are still in vogue! God has not and cannot discard them. Toying with sin is tantamount to limiting the outstretched hand of God.

It doesn’t matter the storm the enemy is trying to use to cause you to sink and drown, the power of our God will extend to you and deliver you immediately you call.

Trust His outstretched hand!
