Matthew 14:29 “And he said, Come. And when Peter was come down out of the ship, he walked on the water, to go to Jesus.”

However, I must sound this note of warning; don’t “come” or move as it were until He ask you to!

Peter didn’t walk on water as it were, he walked on the word!

Ephesians 5:26 “That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word,”

Water in the bible don’t necessarily mean liquid, it is a symbol of the word of God as seen in Ephesians 5:26. Peter walked on the word of God. Peter walked on the word “COME”.

Beloved, before you make any move in life you must wait for His word. Every other place you step might be sinking sand or ordinary water, which can kill but as long as you have His word to hold unto, you will keep afloat.

Perhaps you’re planning a business venture, project, career or even trade. It means you want to manifest or change position, you must wait for His Word. It is the word that is able to stabilise and prevent you from sinking or drowning.

Peter walked on “Come”, and you also need your own word. Peter jumped out of the boat and the word “come” froze the water under him.

There is a sea of possibilities out there but the word will make sure you don’t sink. Concerning that new step you want to take, what word are you holding unto?

As you travel the road of destiny; sons of men, situations and circumstances, your own emotions and even the devil will ask you questions that only the word you’re holding unto can answer.

Don’t ever find yourself in a situation where you have no word to produce when the challenges of life confront you. The word you have is the backing of heaven. If you have no word, you don’t have the backing of heaven.

You must know that God is only committed to His word. His word is His bound.
