Midway battles-2

Midway battles-2
Matthew 14:24 “But the ship was now in the midst of the sea, tossed with waves: for the wind was contrary.”

Matthew 14:24 “But the boat was now in the middle of the sea, tossed by the waves, for the wind was contrary.” (NKJV)

…From yesterday…

Beloved, being in the center of God’s will attracts the enemy to you. He will always show up to test your resolve.

These folks were not in the middle of the sea because they wanted to, they were there by acting on divine instruction.

Matthew 14:22 “And straightway Jesus constrained his disciples to get into a ship, and to go before him unto the other side, while he sent the multitudes away.”

Notice from the scripture above that Jesus had to constrain them to get into the ship and cross over to the other side. The devil tried to stop them but Jesus prevailed and they set about the assignment. But since the enemy could not prevent them from starting, he went and wait for them at the middle.

Friend, always know that since Jesus helped you to start, he will help you to continue and to finish. The enemy couldn’t stop them despite the use of violent waves and storms. Don’t give in to the enemy. Refuse to bulge to his antics.

Who will ever believe that Joseph was in the center of God’s will for his life when he was sold as a common slave. He was sold twice as a slave and taken to a foreign land. How do you explain that he was acting on God’s will when he landed in jail in a strange land.

We might say all things work together for good to them that love God after reading the story of Joseph but you must understand that it was not that easy. You can be sure men would have castigated Joseph and call him names.

They may have even said, he’s suffering because God was against him. They may have called him a liar and an adulterer and claim he was paying for his sins, but we know now that God was involved at every junction.

To be continued…

Love you BiG
