2 Kings 4:2 “Elisha said, “I wonder how I can be of help. Tell me, what do you have in your house?” “Nothing,” she said. “Well, I do have a little oil.””(MSG)

Many people kept running from pillar to post, begging and crying, yet carrying their miracles in their body but just couldn’t see it.

Elisha knew that God created every human being and left something of value in their houses (bodies). You are not a biological accident. God didn’t send you here empty but the question is: “Do you know what you have in your house?” Have you placed value on it?

Have you ever taken an inventory of your gifts, talents and potentials? What are you good at? What comes naturally to you?

The question of the prophet, juggled this woman’s memory and she finally remembered there is a little oil.

Oil represents and is synonymous of the anointing. The woman finally remembered what she was anointed with and told the prophet.

There is oil in every man’s house. God anointed each of us with something that is of value. For some it is running, others academic knowledge, accounting, playing football, dancing, preaching or even cooking, but the bottom line is that you have something.

One thing I want you to do today, is to juggle your brain and take an inventory of the oil in your house. It might be “Little,” no problem, just know it. It might look insignificant, just make sure you know it.

The woman called it a “little oil” but it gave her wealth beyond her wildest imaginations. All it takes is a little oil. You might say my own is just sweeping or cooking, what can that do? Well I have news for you, it is not the size but the oil on it and the instruction that follows.

The widow’s little oil plus instruction gave her the desired miracle. Little plus divine instruction will always give you much. This year your little will become much in Jesus name.
