Miracle in your house-1
2 Kings 4:2 “Elisha said, “I wonder how I can be of help. Tell me, what do you have in your house?” “Nothing,” she said. “Well, I do have a little oil.””(MSG)

When this woman cried to Elisha, I expected the prophet to send her to the king for help since the king was like a spiritual son to him; or perhaps link her to some influencial people in town for help; or give her some money to settle the debt.

Elisha did none of that but rather asked a question that doesn’t seem to add up. He said, “Tell me, what do you have in your house?”

The woman said, “Nothing”. The meaning of that statement is that, “I don’t have anything of value”. Her mindset was that Elisha wanted to know if there is anything of value in her house which she could sell and make money, but she couldn’t find anything of value except a little oil.

The truth is this, your house can never become completely dry. There is always something in your house that can trigger your next miracle. The breakthrough you’re anxiously looking for is closer to you than you can ever imagine.

You are a walking warehouse of miracles. Here is the picture the Holy Spirit gave me:

1 Thessalonians 5:23 “And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and [I pray God] your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.”

You’re a spirit, you have a soul and you live in a body. Your body is your house, everything you need for a miracle is already deposited there from heaven. You came into the body (your house), loaded and complete from heaven. Every investment that will enrich you is already provided in your house.

You are a walking warehouse of potentials and miracles. The problem with many of us however is that, we feel we have nothing in our houses. Many people are like this woman, they feel their house is empty or have nothing of value.
