A cry for help-2
2 Kings 4:1 “Now there cried a certain woman of the wives of the sons of the prophets unto Elisha, saying, Thy servant my husband is dead; and thou knowest that thy servant did fear the LORD: and the creditor is come to take unto him my two sons to be bondmen.”

…From yesterday…

In order words the name Elisha means, “Cry for help to the God who can save you and give you wealth”!

This woman was a woman of substance who knew how to receive from God. She may not have title in church like her husband but she sure knows God.

Friend, when you cry for help to God, He answers. He is a prayer answering God. If there is a man to pray their is surely a God to answer.

The interesting point is that God didn’t just answer her prayers, He beat her imagination. She didn’t just have enough to pay the “mean” creditors, she started a business empire.

She started feeding both her immediate and extended families. She became a woman of substance and power, a force to be reckoned with in the land. That’s what only God can do.

This woman knew that God is Salvation. I know you know that too and you’re sure that now that you’re saved, you have escaped Hell. Well, I have news for you, God saving you is beyond escaping Hell fire.

If the only reason we were saved is to escape Hell fire then we will be miserable. Creditors will deal with us and frustrate our lives.

Here is the good news of the Kingdom; the word salvation means: welfare, prosperity, deliverance, righteousness, victory, health, help, save, saving and to defend; just to mention a few.

If you don’t know the contract you signed when you gave your life to Christ, you better do! Salvation is a complete and full package, its an all encompassing deal.

It will be wrong of you to focus on one and neglect the others. You’re saved not just from death in hell, but from poverty, sicknesses and every oppression of the enemy.

Friend, become Salvation conscious!
