2 Kings 4:1 “Now there cried a certain woman of the wives of the sons of the prophets unto Elisha, saying, Thy servant my husband is dead; and thou knowest that thy servant did fear the LORD: and the creditor is come to take unto him my two sons to be bondmen.”

…From yesterday…

I’ve come to discover that debt and money related issues don’t even respect the anointing. A Prophet, Pastor or Apostle can be broke and even die of money related issues.

Beloved, I want you to know that the bargain we have in Christ is a total package. Christ didn’t save us so that the enemy can still have a hold in one area of our lives or the other. The problem is that most times we easily fall for the bargain of the enemy. Let me show you an instance:

Exodus 10:24 “And Pharaoh called unto Moses, and said, Go ye, serve the LORD; only let your flocks and your herds be stayed: let your little ones also go with you.”

Exodus 10:24 “The king sent for Moses and told him, ” Go worship the LORD! And take your families with you. Just leave your sheep, goats, and cattle.””(CEV)

That is the bargain of the devil. Pharaoh told Moses and the children of Israel to go serve God, with their children but they should leave their cattle which was their source of wealth and lively hood behind.

The devil has not changed his strategy, he won’t mind you serving the Lord, sleeping in church, doing evangelism and living righteous as long as you’re broke!

The son of prophet in our focal scripture probably or unconsciously accepted the bargain of the devil or Pharaoh. He was serving the LORD, but left his cattle with the enemy.

Friend, don’t let the devil put you in such a quagmire. Prosperity is part our salvation package. Don’t get saved and get broke. God is the Master of wealth.

Haggai 2:8 “The silver [is] mine, and the gold [is] mine, saith the LORD of hosts.”

Haggai 2:8 “All silver and gold belong to me,”(CEV)
