7. UNBELIEF

When God says something is possible unbelief says it is not.

When God says you’re rich, it says you’re poor. When God says you’re victorious, it says you’re defeated. When God says you’re strong and healthy, it says you’re weak and sickly.

Once you belief something contrary to what God says, you’ve pitched yourself against God by taking sides with the devil and as a result limit God.

God cannot work with a man who will not believe Him. Even you as a man will not work or travel far with a man who claims everything you say is a lie.

How do you call God a liar and expect Him to work for you and with you? That’s exactly what unbelief does.

It is one thing that not just limit and restrict God, it actually displeases Him. Unbelief is also the opposite of faith.

What gives God the greatest pleasure is to be believed. This is what faith is all about. You displease God when you choose to disbelief Him

Hebrews 11:6 “But without faith [it is] impossible to please [him]: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and [that] he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.”

Faith or believe brings you into the pleasures of God. When you please an important man, he goes out of his way to help you. When you please God by believing Him, He beats your imagination.

Matthew 17:19 “Then came the disciples to Jesus apart, and said, Why could not we cast him out?”

Matthew 17:20 “And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you.”

Jesus came to his disciples and told them that the difficult issues confronting them is due to their wrong belief system.

Could it be that the issue you’re dealing with is simply because you’re limiting God due to unbelief?

choose to trust and believe God. Remove the limit you place on Him and watch Him turn you into a world wonder!
