6. DISHONOUR

Dishonour means to bring disgrace or shame upon someone or something. It means reproach incurred or suffered; ignominy or derision. It means to bring disrepute.
.
Those are serious terms which are derogatory to the personality of the Almighty God. A man that honours God is a man that will always command the attention of heaven. Honour brings divinity around a man.

To honour also means to show someone respect. Respect will do much more for you than anything else, especially around God.

1 Samuel 2:30 “Wherefore the LORD God of Israel saith…for them that honour me I will honour, and they that despise me shall be lightly esteemed.”

God loves to be honoured and once you keep showing Him honour, you automatically give Him the latitude to act on your behalf. You take the limits off Him!

Genesis 4:4 “And Abel, he also brought of the firstlings of his flock and of the fat thereof. And the LORD had respect unto Abel and to his offering:”

God honoured and respected Abel and everything around him, “What and honour”!

Friend, let honour always go before you and watch God do things beyond your wildest expectations.

7. UNBELIEF

Matthew 13:58 “And he did not many mighty works there because of their unbelief.”

The last thing I want to show you in this meditation is what I call unbelief.

The scripture above stated it categorically that another reason Jesus could do no mighty works for them is their unbelief.

Unbelief is simply a belief system that is wrong or one that is contrary to that of God. It is believing the wrong things. Unbelief is so bad in that it works directly against the dictates of God.

When God says something is possible unbelief says it is not.
