Limiting a limitless God-12
Psalms 78:41 “Yea, they turned back and tempted God, and limited the Holy One of Israel.”

…From yesterday…

Men would kill and maim others for it but the issue is this, most of this commonly held believes are antithesis to the word of God. I have seen men refuse to marry from church, born again sisters just because their culture says “No!”

You hear people say, “This is what my father said and I cannot change it”. “This is how I was brought up.”

When men flash the culture card, they are telling you; it’s something that is not debatable. This is one of the major problems of Africa, you see men who profess Christ still holding unto the tradition of their fathers.

Friend, thank God for tradition and culture but the question is this, “Are those your believes in line with the word of God?”.

Matthew 13:57 “And they were offended in him. But Jesus said unto them, A prophet is not without honour, save in his own country, and in his own house.”

Offense is another major reason that limits the operations of a Limitless God in our lives.

Offense is the state of being displeased with someone or something, leading to anger and displeasure.

Matthew 11:4 “Jesus answered and said unto them, Go and shew John again those things which ye do hear and see:”

Matthew 11:5 “The blind receive their sight, and the lame walk, the lepers are cleansed, and the deaf hear, the dead are raised up, and the poor have the gospel preached to them.”

Matthew 11:6 “And blessed is [he], whosoever shall not be offended in me.”

John the Baptist was Jesus’ “spiritual father”, he commissioned him into ministry after announcing him to the whole world. As time goes by however, he ran into error with the government and rather than send to Jesus to help him out, he became offended and doubted the ability of God.
