Job 37:6 “He says to the snow,’Fall on the earth,’ and to the rain shower,’Be a mighty downpour.'”(NIV)

…From yesterday…

Matthew 25:16 “Right off, the first servant went to work and doubled his master’s investment.”

Matthew 25:17 “The second did the same.” (MSG)

This is the parable of the talents or dollars. The Master of these servants who of course is God, deposited talents or invested so much in them when he was travelling and expected returns on His investment.

His servants went to work immediately, having Job 37:6 behind their minds, which is to become their all. The least the Master expected from them was hundred percent and that was what two of them did, while the third one fell short of the Master’s expectation. 

Matthew 25:19 “After a long absence, the master of those three servants came back and settled up with them.”

Matthew 25:20 “The one given five thousand dollars showed him how he had doubled his investment.”

Matthew 25:21 “His master commended him: ‘Good work! You did your job well. From now on be my partner.'”

Beloved, the first and second servants doubled their investment, they came back with the minimum which was hundred percent and they were well commended. In the same vein, the least requirement from us is equally hundred percent, anything short is unacceptable. 

I travelled recently and saw a particular tree. This tree grew so big and dominated it’s environment. I’m used to seeing that specie of tree all around but I’ve never seen one that big. I always thought it was a small tree by specie, I never knew those ones were violating God’s law!

This one was so big and tall that you could hardly see the sky if you stand under it. I showed my wife in admiration and the Holy Spirit whispered gently to me, “That’s God’s idea of Job 37:6”, and I got the message.
