Exodus 2:18 “And when they came to Reuel their father, he said, How [is it that] ye are come so soon to day?”

…From yesterday…

Friend, could it be that Moses appeared like an Egyptian and you drove him away?

I want you to know that many times our divine help might not appear in the form we expected and of course many have turned down such helps.

When you expect a white man, God can send a black man, when you expect a rich, wealthy and influential man, God might send a pauper!

Do you remember this episode from 2 Kings 5?

2 Kings 5:1 “Now Naaman, captain of the host of the king of Syria, was a great man with his master, and honourable, because by him the LORD had given deliverance unto Syria: he was also a mighty man in valour, [but he was] a leper.”

2 Kings 5:2 “And the Syrians had gone out by companies, and had brought away captive out of the land of Israel a little maid; and she waited on Naaman’s wife.”

2 Kings 5:3 “And she said unto her mistress, Would God my lord [were] with the prophet that [is] in Samaria! for he would recover him of his leprosy.”

The story of Namaan drives home this point. He was rich and powerful but a leper. Everything about his healing was very interesting.

It was a little slave girl in his house that God used for him. God also used a prophet he never saw. He was asked to go wash in a dirty river. When he didn’t want to bath in the river, God had to use one of his subordinates who encouraged him to have the bath.

It was as if God was just bent on healing him, but you must understand that it’s not everybody that will have such opportunities, so you must learn to pick divine signals early and quickly as well.

Help could come from very unlikely quarters, may you have the sensitivity to recognise and utilise your divine help and helper.

To be continued…

Love you BiG
