​Reuel to Jethro-5​

Exodus 2:18 “And when they came to Reuel their father, he said, How [is it that] ye are come so soon to day?”

Exodus 3:1 “Now Moses kept the flock of Jethro his father in law, the priest of Midian: and he led the flock to the backside of the desert, and came to the mountain of God, [even] to Horeb.”

…From yesterday…

Deuteronomy 28:12 “GOD will throw open the doors of his sky vaults and pour rain on your land on schedule and bless the work you take in hand. You will lend to many nations but you yourself won’t have to take out a loan.”” (MSG)

There is a way you walk with God that you gain unhindered access to His presence. 

Even in my house, there are people I entertain by my gate, others within the compound, some in my sitting room and yet some can enter my bedroom. It all depends on the level of relationship.

The question is what will be your relationship with Him this year, and how can you qualify for it? 

The first step is becoming His friend. Many people want God’s abundance and surplus but are not ready to become a Reuel. To become a Reuel, you start by getting intimate with Him. You remove the debris that have accumulated on your prayer altar and clean off the dust on your Bible. 

Look at this man:

Genesis 5:24 And “Enoch walked with God: and he [was] not; for God took him.”

Genesis 5:24 “Enoch walked steadily with God. And then one day he was simply gone: God took him.” (MSG)

This man called Enoch walked with God, he became so acquainted with God that he walks to God’s inner chamber daily until one day when he went in and decided to stay permanently! 

All your dreams can come to pass, if only you can become a Reuel.

I pray for you: This year, may you qualify for God’s innermost chamber! May He trust you enough to show you secrets and give you abundance and surplus. 

May you move from Midian to Reuel and to Jethro!
