The difference maker-1
John 9:8 “The neighbours therefore, and they which before had seen him that he was blind, said, Is not this he that sat and begged?”
John 9:9 “Some said, This is he: others [said], He is like him: [but] he said, I am [he].”
When this blind man regained his sight everything about him changed. He started doing what he could not do from birth. He became a wonder to his world.
People who knew him, some of those folks who have been used to giving him alms began to doubt if he was the same man. Some even concluded it was not him.
Friend, this year, you will shock your generation in Jesus name. You will leave that ugly place where you’ve been. The conclusions of men about you will be upturned by God Almighty. Those that have been pitying you will change their minds. You will no longer be a beggar in Jesus name. You will start doing what you couldn’t do in Jesus name.
Beloved you will receive your lost “vision”. Begin to dream again! See beyond the ordinary. Become all that God has destined you to be in Jesus name.
When you read the story down, you’ll discover that the people and the Pharisee or church council had to send for his parents because they couldn’t just believe it.
John 9:18 “But the Jews did not believe concerning him, that he had been blind, and received his sight, until they called the parents of him that had received his sight.”
John 9:20 “His parents answered them and said, We know that this is our son, and that he was born blind:”
Friend, this is that year when you’ll be brought to prominence. God will use your life to show men his awesome power.
The question is: What was the difference between the blind man that sat begging at the beginning of this story and the man that was seeing and moving about unaided as the story rounds up?
What turned a beggar to a generational wonder?
To be continued…
