​Siloam-4

John 9:7 “And said unto him, Go, wash in the pool of Siloam, (which is by interpretation, Sent.) He went his way therefore, and washed, and came seeing.”

Secondly, Jesus told him to go wash. Washing simply talks about conversion. To enjoy the miraculous, there must be a change of heart. You must repent. Repentance simply means; change your previous way of thinking. In order words, you must be born again! 

There is a heart a man carries that makes it impossible for him to enjoy the miraculous. There is whom you must become for God to help you. 

Hear this:

Ephesians 5:26 “That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word,”

To go wash simply means to pick the word of God and apply it to our current situation. Let the word of God reshape your thoughts. The word of God is His cleansing agent, you can apply it to any situation and circumstance of life. 

Finally, he asked him to go to the pool of Siloam, which depicts the place of breakthrough. He could have said go wash in a swimming pool but specifically he asked him to go to the pool of Siloam.

The word Siloam simply means “Sent” as we have seen earlier, which talks about obedience. The word pool as used here means to to plunge into an abundance of water or to swim.

In order words, Jesus asked him to be a man who is completely given to obeying instructions. 

The Bible is principally an instruction manual. Everything we do as believers is to always obey instructions. If the blind man had not obeyed those three instructions his miracle may have eluded him. Hear this:

2 Corinthians 10:6 “And having in a readiness to revenge all disobedience, when your obedience is fulfilled.”

Friend, if you are yet to see the miraculous, go back and pick your instruction manual, most likely you are missing a step somewhere. Incomplete obedience is disobedience.

Once your obedience is complete, the miraculous becomes your daily experience.
