​Let him anoint you-1

John 9:6 “When he had thus spoken, he spat on the ground, and made clay of the spittle, and he anointed the eyes of the blind man with the clay,”

Anointing is the supernatural empowerment and enablement of God upon a natural vessel. It is the very ability of God coming over and taking over the weakness and limitations of men.

Acts 10:38 “How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him.”

Acts 10:38 “Then Jesus arrived from Nazareth, anointed by God with the Holy Spirit, ready for action. He went through the country helping people and healing everyone who was beaten down by the Devil. He was able to do all this because God was with him.”(MSG)

Jesus himself was able to do all the exploits he did because he was anointed with the Holy Ghost. The Holy Spirit is the One who comes up on a man to get him anointed, If Christ need him we do too.

Before the miracle took place, Jesus anointed the blind man with clay that has been mixed with his spittle. Many times in the Bible we saw that the oil was the instrument used to anoint men but this case was completely different. 

Using spittle got me thinking and asking questions. It was a strange type of anointing. What I discover was very interesting.

The saliva of a man contains a wide range of genetic data and it’s a base for about the purest form of DNA information on a man. In order words it contains the whole essence of man. What makes a man who he is can be found more in his saliva than even in his blood according to recent medical research. 

That’s why security operatives easily collects DNA sample of a criminal from his saliva. What has this got to do with us?

When a man speaks he loses saliva, this accounts for why you feel dehydrated after speaking for long and needs water.
