To the Glory of God-2
John 9:2 “And his disciples asked him, saying, Master, who did sin, this man, or his parents, that he was born blind?”
John 9:3 “Jesus answered, Neither hath this man sinned, nor his parents: but that the works of God should be made manifest in him.”
I want to believe, he must have been told that his condition is permanent because of his sin or that of his parents. They must have told him to resign to fate and bear his cross.
Friend, I have news for you: You are too small to pay for your sins. The wages of sin is death.
Romans 6:23 “For the wages of sin [is] death; but the gift of God [is] eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.”
You can’t survive it, that was why Christ came to take your place, he took your death so that he can give you and I the gift of God.
All he requires from us his praise. I also think that anyone who swapped places with us in death deserves praise and glory. We can’t pay the price and the least we can say is; “Thank you”.
Giving God praise is a powerful and potent weapon in the hand of the believer. Once you know how to switch to this mood, you have mastered how to always bring God down. One thing God can never resist is praise. Hear him:
Psalms 22:3 “But thou [art] holy, [O thou] that inhabitest the praises of Israel.”
God dwells in praise and when he is brought down into a negative situation, he turns it around.
Friend, the reason why that negative issue persists in your life could simply be that you’ve not allowed God to take the glory in it. If you’ll allow him glorify himself therein, the situation will definitely change for good.
Jesus has been waiting for you to allow the work of God to be made manifest in you, but you’ve been resisting him. Why not yield to him? This blind folk surrendered to God and he moved into his life to show his awesomeness and glory.
