​The analysis of men-2

John 9:2 “And his disciples asked him, saying, Master, who did sin, this man, or his parents, that he was born blind?”

John 9:3 “Jesus answered, Neither hath this man sinned, nor his parents: but that the works of God should be made manifest in him.”

…From yesterday…

Luke 13:13 “And he laid [his] hands on her: and immediately she was made straight, and glorified God.”

This woman had a disease condition that made her bent such that she couldn’t stand erect. She had been in that condition for eighteen years but just as the case of this man, Jesus saw her, approached her and healed her. 

It was after her healing that we really understood the analysis of men.

Luke 13:14 “And the ruler of the synagogue answered with indignation, because that Jesus had healed on the sabbath day, and said unto the people, There are six days in which men ought to work: in them therefore come and be healed, and not on the sabbath day.”

The person that made the above statement was none other than her pastor. She has been appearing in church like that for eighteen years and they must have concluded that her condition was due to her sins. So she can’t get healed on Sunday. If he knew she could  get healed during the week why was she not told for eighteen years? 

I thought the church was to praise God and shout to the heavens that day but they didn’t, they were more concerned about ‘when the healing took place” than the healing itself. Nobody cared about the woman.

The disciples of Jesus were more concerned about the sin of this man and his parents than about his condition, but glory be to God, He is not man, He came with mercy and compassion. 

The analysis of man couldn’t stop Jesus. Beloved, forget about the the analysis of man and look unto Jesus. He came and paid the price so that you and I can go free.

If he did it for this man, he will sure do it for you!
