​My Christmas notes- Only the wise can find him-2

Matt. 2: 1 “Now when Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judaea in the days of Herod the king, behold there came wise men from the east to Jerusalem,”

…From yesterday…

1 Corinthians 1:19 “As the Scriptures say, “I will destroy the wisdom of the wise and discard the intelligence of the intelligent.””

1 Corinthians 1:20 “So where does this leave the philosophers, the scholars, and the world’s brilliant debaters? God has made the wisdom of this world look foolish.”(NLT)

That’s the interesting thing, what the world calls wisdom is what God call foolishness. When you get down to becoming serious with your journey with Jesus, many will mock you. They will call you church boy or girl because they can’t just comprehend what you’re doing.

Beloved, wise men and women are still the ones following Jesus today. When you follow Jesus, you’re following God, the most potent and most powerful force on earth. 

Why should I follow Jesus today?

1) Matthew 4:19 “And he saith unto them, Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men.”

When you follow him, he makes you. Your life, ministry, career and business gets made!

2) Matthew 9:27 “And when Jesus departed thence, two blind men followed him, crying, and saying, [Thou] Son of David, have mercy on us.”

Matthew 9:29 “Then touched he their eyes, saying, According to your faith be it unto you.” 

Matthew 9:30 “And their eyes were opened…”

When you follow him, he opens your eyes; meaning he gives you insight. You see beyond the ordinary. He refocuses your life! He clears every blindness from your life.

3) Matthew 19:2 “And great multitudes followed him; and he healed them there.”

People that follow him gets healed and enjoys sound health. 

Beloved, those are just some of the reasons why you need to pursue him this year. Please be wise in 2018 and follow God everywhere! No matter how long and demanding!

Find and hold unto him, Selah!
