​My Christmas notes- Christ came because of me-2

Luke 2:11 “For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord.”

…From yesterday…

God knew the thinking of men so he came and made salvation common not scarce. He made a provision for you! It doesn’t matter your qualification or background, He was born “UNTO YOU”, so that you can be saved. 

John 1:12 “But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, [even] to them that believe on his name:”

Friend, salvation is not even the exclusive right of your pastor, Bishop or Pope, it is yours as well. He was born unto you. The difference between you and them is the fact that they have accepted and personalise this great truth,  

Christ came because of you and that settles it. The reason why many powerful and influential people will go to hell is that many of them feel they cannot share Christ with paupers. That is their thinking but the bible says, “unto you” and that settles it. 

It doesn’t matter who is angry or sad, He was born unto you! You are the reason for the season. Don’t let any self-riightteouus religious bigot harass you. Since he was born unto you, he is yours and you are his.

Guess what? He was born unto you today. It is present tense. His birth to you is still fresh , potent and powerful the way it was two thousand years ago. If you’re reading this and yet to accept Him as your Lord and personal saviour, there is still hope and provision for you.

“For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Savior…”, his birth is this day not yesterday! You can accept him today and make today, your day of salvation! 

2 Corinthians 6:2 “(For he saith, I have heard thee in a time accepted, and in the day of salvation have I succoured thee: behold, now [is] the accepted time; behold, now [is] the day of salvation.)”

Friend, today can become your own day of salvation as well, “For unto you is born this day…a Savior!”
