My Christmas notes- Praying the prophecy-2
Luke 2:36 “And there was one Anna, a prophetess, the daughter of Phanuel, of the tribe of Aser: she was of a great age, and had lived with an husband seven years from her virginity;”
Luke 2:37 “And she [was] a widow of about fourscore and four years, which departed not from the temple, but served [God] with fastings and prayers night and day.”
The lesson is this, prophecies don’t just fulfil themselves, they are birthed in the place of prayer! It is not enough to receive prophecies we must make warfare with them.
1 Timothy 1:18 “This charge I commit unto thee, son Timothy, according to the prophecies which went before on thee, that thou by them mightest war a good warfare;”
Prophecies according to the admonition of Paul to his son Timothy happens or is birthed in the place of warfare or prayers. The distance between a prophetic declaration and it’s fulfilment is usually intercession.
We live in a world were the devil will not fold his hands and watch prophecies come to pass in our lives. The devil will always frustrate every prophetic word and we owe ourselves a duty to enforce it in the place of prayer.
Before you were born, it is written that, “…by his stripes you were healed” (1 Peter 2:24). That’s a prophetic word concerning your health and healing, so why do you fall sick? The devil knew the prophetic word but you must declare it and pray it over your life.
You must take the word, personalise it, pray it and keep declaring it. We are in the generation of fulfilment of prophecies but how much will be fulfilled in our lives depends on the ones we birth in warfare.
Friend, Simeon and Anna prayed, you are not spared. You need to get into the word, pick the prophetic word that applies to what you want to see happen, pray it and keep confessing it, that is how to birth prophecies. You can birth yours today!
