My Christmas notes-Fulfilment of prophecy-1

Isaiah 9:6 “For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.”

I am using this medium to wish you a merry Christmas and a happy new year in advance. May this season usher in abundance, wealth and prosperity for you. May the supernatural birth of Christ birth the supernatural in your own life as well.

In this meditation, I will be sharing with you what I call my Christmas notes, by the help of the Holy Spirit. These are some of my thoughts and observations from studying this great story of Christmas.

The very first note I will be sharing with you is what I call, fulfilment of prophecy. Several years before the birth of Christ, the Holy Spirit through the mouth of prophet Isaiah made the above proclamation. Not only Isaiah but several others such as Micah, Malachi, Zachariah as well as Moses in Genesis 3. They all gave the prophecy about the coming of the Messiah which was not fulfilled until several years later.

It seemed impossible and delayed but one day it came to pass.

Matthew 2:1 “Now when Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judaea in the days of Herod the king, behold, there came wise men from the east to Jerusalem,”

Jesus was eventually born according to the prophecy. It happened just as the prophets foretold. It seems long in coming but it happened. It looked impossible and unbelievable but it became possible.

I wrote this down in my note and my thought was this: Whatever the Lord has said concerning me will come to pass. Every promise of God to you and I will materialise. I serve a God that cannot lie.

Psalms 89:34 “My covenant will I not break, nor alter the thing that is gone out of my lips.”

To be continued…

Love you BiG
