​Valley of decision: Purity-2

Joel 3:14 “Multitudes, multitudes in the valley of decision: for the day of the LORD [is] near in the valley of decision.”

John 17:14 “I gave them your word; The godless world hated them because of it, Because they didn’t join the world’s ways,” (MSG)

We live in the world but definitely we are not of the world. There is a system in the world which we must not operate by. There is a world way that corrupts and defile people and unfortunately many believers are being swept away by it.

It will interest you to know that when the land of Israel was attacked and captured, Daniel and his three friends were not the only Hebrews taken into captivity in Babylon, there were others but we didn’t hear of them because they were swept away by the defilement in the world.

Friend, God does not work with dilution. The real strength of life is purity. If you break iron with just your hand it means it is not pure. You can’t break pure iron like that. Anything pure is strong.

You must make a decision to be pure because we serve a pure God. It is the devil that uses defilement, pollution and corruption to truncate the destiny of men. You must run away from sin and whatever can make you impure. 

Purity is power. It is also a must if you want God to work with you. Don’t let men flatter you with lust and corruption. We must always put on the righteousness of God if we must go far with him. 

Matthew 5:8 “Blessed [are] the pure in heart: for they shall see God.”

God does not work with corruption and impurity. He wants His vessels clean and pure. Purity opens you up to the presence of God. Make purity your lifestyle, take a cue from Joseph and Daniel. 

The one thing that got them to the pinnacle of their destiny was purity. They simply ran away from everything and anything that defile.
