Prayer lesson from Rachel: Divine intervention-2

Genesis 30:22 “And God remembered Rachel, and God hearkened to her, and opened her womb.”

Genesis 30:23 “Finally, God remembered Rachel–he answered her prayer by giving her a son. “God has taken away my disgrace,” she said.” (CEV)

…From yesterday…

John 16:24 “Up to this time you have not asked a [single] thing in My Name [as presenting all that I AM]; but now ask and keep on asking and you will receive, so that your joy (gladness, delight) may be full and complete.” (AMP)

This scripture shows the problem of Rachel as well as that of majority of us. We just won’t ask. We keep quiet and get busy scheming, plotting and using every human strategy we deem fit.

Jesus said your happiness and whatever you’ll ever want in life and destiny is as simple as asking in his name. That was the bane of Rachel.

Eventually, Rachel prayed and I have a strong feeling that she went to study how her husband was born. It’s possible that Jacob took her down memory lane and she decided to give it a trial.

Genesis 2 eventually 5:21 “And Isaac prayed much to the Lord for his wife because she was unable to bear children; and the Lord granted his prayer, and Rebekah his wife became pregnant.” (AMP)

Isaac prayed and her husband came, so she prayed and Joseph came. The first and only time we were told was when she got pregnant. The Bible says “God remembered Rachel…”, does it mean that God forgot her? Not at all. It simply means that God brought her to focus. Her file was opened.

Beloved, God has been waiting to hear what you’ve got to say about that matter. Ain’t you tired of scheming, wrestling, plotting, thinking about suicide and getting envious because of that matter?

Why do you go to church and not trust the One you’ve gone to meet? Why not talk to Him?

To be continued…

Love you BiG
