​Prayer lesson from Rachel: Suicide mode-2

Genesis 30:23 “Finally, God remembered Rachel–he answered her prayer by giving her a son. “God has taken away my disgrace,” she said.” (CEV)

Friend, that stuff you want so desperately will eventually come but will you be alive to enjoy it? 

If your issue is childlessness I want you to look at your bible, between Mrs Sarah Abraham and Mrs Elizabeth Zacharias, the mother of John the Baptist, you will find your case there. If God answered them, He will answer you also. 

If your problem is career progression, take a look at Peter, from an ordinary fisherman to a world renowned Apostle. My father in the Lord said, “It is Apostles that write epistles not fishermen”. But see what Jesus did with an illiterate fisherman!

What about Paul? If you feel you have have lived a reckless wicked life and probably thinking God cannot forgive you, look at Saul that became Paul. God can take that your seemingly wicked and reckless life and make a beauty out of it. 

If your issue is a sickness that pushed you into suicide mode, take a look at the woman with the issue of blood. She suffered in pains for twelve solid years, spent all her life savings looking for cure, became stigmatised and completely broke, yet she got healed in a matter of seconds after coming in contact with Jesus.

There is no issue confronting you that has not been directly or indirectly treated in the bible. Don’t become suicidal like Ahitophel. 

2 Samuel 17:23 “And when Ahithophel saw that his counsel was not followed, he saddled [his] ass, and arose, and gat him home to his house, to his city, and put his household in order, and hanged himself, and died, and was buried in the sepulchre of his father.”

Friend, don’t kill yourself because you couldn’t have your way. If you don’t get it now you can get it tomorrow. 

Friend, don’t die before the manifestation of your long awaited miracle!
