​Timnath: Kill the lion-3

Judges 14:5 “Then went Samson down, and his father and his mother, to Timnath, and came to the vineyards of Timnath: and, behold, a young lion roared against him.”

Judges 14:6 “And the Spirit of the LORD came mightily upon him, and he rent him as he would have rent a kid, and [he had] nothing in his hand: but he told not his father or his mother what he had done.”

…From yesterday…

We said the young lion was a fake, the Spirit on Samson was the real deal. The Spirit on Samson is the real lion. Hear this:

Revelation 5:5 “And one of the elders saith unto me, Weep not: behold, the LION OF THE TRIBE OF JUDA, the Root of David, hath prevailed to open the book, and to loose the seven seals thereof.”

The Holy Spirit in us is the Spirit of the Lion of the tribe of Judah. That we see a fake simply means there is an original somewhere, and that original is in us. 

Friend, the day you come to terms with this understanding is the day you become free. You are a billion times much more powerful than you can ever comprehend. The Spirit within you is not timid or weak. He is the real lion before whom everything bows. 

Samson knew this truth and it was on this platform he went after the ‘young fake” lion and tore it to pieces. Beloved, the Spirit upon you empowers you to tear everything fake to pieces. The Bible says,”And the Spirit of the LORD came mightily upon him, and he rent him as he would have rent a kid..”

The Spirit came upon him and he did that but the truth is this, as a New Testament believer the Spirit doesn’t come upon us for such occasional performances, the Spirit resides permanently in us. 

He resides permanently in us so that such performances could be our everyday experience! The Holy Spirit makes in us makes us live naturally in the Supernatural. We are not timid tormented folks as believers.
