Psalms 23: Enemies can’t stop You-2
Psalms 23:5 “Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.”
Isaiah 54:15 “Behold, they shall surely gather together, [but] not by me: whosoever shall gather together against thee shall fall for thy sake.”
God attest to the fact that enemies will always gather but their gathering means nothing to the equation of your life. God can even use them to promote you.
God proved this in the life of Joseph. Who will ever believe his brothers and Mrs Potiphar were working hard to put Joseph on his thrown? Who will also believe that killing Jesus was part of the grand plan of God to enthrone him forever?
Friend, it doesn’t matter the forces against you, they cannot stop you. Can you imagine the look on the faces of Joseph’s brothers when they finally met him as the Prime Minister of Egypt? Can you also imagine the look on the face of Potiphar the day Joseph became their instructor in Egypt? What do you think Mrs Potiphar will say when her husband broke the news to her?
It’s interesting when your success happens right before your haters.
A pastor humorously said that, God needed your enemies to watch you eat so that when you’re done they’ll clear the table. You need stewards to serve you.
The hostility of men towards you is irrelevant. God will bless you despite them. They can roar as much as they want, their ranting will come to nought.
Keep your focus on your assignment, if Jesus had consentrated much on the enemies, his primary assignment might have been lost. Don’t let anybody break your focus, hear what the bible said about the devil:
1 Peter 5:8 “…your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour”
The devil is only mimicking a roaring lion, he is no lion!
Friend, if all your enemies die who will broadcast your testimonies?
Forget about the enemies. Relax and eat your meal!
