Psalms 23: There’s more-2
Psalms 23: There’s more-2
Psalms 23:2 “He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters.”
…From yesterday…
Our God is inexhaustible, he can’t finish, he takes delight in revealing his multi-sided dimensions.
When you go on a trip with this Shepherd, he will keep taking you beyond your wildest dreams and imaginations.
I have studied some scriptures and preached messages from them that I think are wonderful but I have heard other ministers preach from the same scriptures something entirely different and revelational. I then wonder if it’s the same bible. That is the kind of God we serve. He keeps showing up in different forms.
I have since known Him as a God who can change a fullstop to a comma and convert an end to a bend. Our Great Shepherd certainly has more in store.
Beloved, don’t stop by the green pastures, proceed to the still waters. No matter the breakthroughs you have encountered, there is still more. If you’ve enjoyed opened doors hitherto, know there are still some doors that are yet to open with your name tag on them. That profit you’ve made is nothing compared to your next profit,
Perhaps you think year 2017 has been wonderful and all your prayer requests have been answered, write another set! Don’t allow your green pasture become your destination. Don’t be like Peter, James and John:
Matthew 17:4 “Then answered Peter, and said unto Jesus, Lord, it is good for us to be here: if thou wilt, let us make here three tabernacles; one for thee, and one for Moses, and one for Elias.”
That was the account on the mountain of transfiguration. They saw Moses and Elijah talking with Jesus and they got lost in that amazing moment.
Peter quickly “thought it wise” to build three tabernacles, I guess his thought was that the whole world will now be coming there to worship and fellowship.
To be continued…
