Finish it-2

Finish it-2

Zechariah 4:9 “The hands of Zerubbabel have laid the foundation of this house; his hands shall also finish it; and thou shalt know that the LORD of hosts hath sent me unto you.”

…From yesterday…

A television crew was sent out from the medal ceremony when word was received that there was one more runner about to finish.

As he finally crossed the finish line a cheer came from the small crowd. When interviewed later and asked why he continued running, he said, “My country did not send me 5,000 miles to START THE RACE; they sent me 5,000 miles to FINISH THE RACE!” (Courtesy Wikipedia)

In our focal scripture, Zerubbabel like John Stephen Akhwari, started the race and finish it. There is a grace and anointing called the finishers anointing. Zerubbabel laid the foundation and finished it.

Beloved, God didn’t allow you to “lay the foundation” of this year only to abandon you half way, He want you to finish it on a high. You were not sent into 2017 to start the race but rather to finish it.

You didn’t start that project only to give up when the going gets tough, you must complete it. Don’t give up now, you are closer to the finishing line than when you started.

What do you have at hand presently that looks impossible? What task is at hand that you’re considering abandoning? Hear the prophetic word of God today, “Since your hand laid the foundation, your hand also will finish it”. Receive the finisher’s anointing in Jesus name.

Jesus finished: “…It is finished…” (John 19:30).

“I have finished the work which thou gavest me to do.” (John 17:4)

Paul finished: “…I have finished [my] course…”(2 Timothy 4:7)

Moses didn’t finish. Saul didn’t finish.

Friend, Zerubbabel finished and finished strong, same with David. You won’t only finish this year, you will finish your assignment and that project in Jesus name.

The finisher’s anointing is working for you now!

Love you BiG
