While men slept-7
Matthew 13:25 “But while men slept, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat, and went his way.”
The devil also uses this principle. He packages destruction in the seed (tares), goes away, simply expecting it to grow. Once it grows, it produces after it’s kind.
Beloved, watch out for the seeds of the devil. For example somebody comes and tells you that your new boss at work is a bad person and you must be careful the way you interact with him. Unconsciously, you will begin to see him from that perspective.
You might not give him your maximum cooperation not because he is actually a bad person but because “you were told he is’. A seed was sown into you and it has started finding expression. The person that told you has gone away and here you are reacting to, and working with an information that is probably false.
Friend, learn to reject negative talks because it sows the wrong seeds into your life.
7. Wrong joining: “… his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat…”
One of the connotations of the word sowed as used here is “joining”. In order words the devil came and “joined” tares to the wheat that was planted.
In life there are several things that God has joined together and He want them to remain so. He doesn’t want and neither does He encourage wrong joinings. Hear Him:
Mark 10:9 “What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder.”
What God joined together must by design and purpose stay together, for example He has joined man and woman, prayer and fasting and so on.
He also joined the right set of people together in order to fulfil a divine mandate; Jesus and his disciples, Paul and Silas, Barnabas and John Mark.
Jesus sent out his disciples in pairs or joinings:
Mark 6:7 “And he called [unto him] the twelve, and began to send them forth by two and two; and gave them power over unclean spirits;”
