​The four lepers: Be daring-2

2 Kings 7:4 “If we say, We will enter into the city, then the famine [is] in the city, and we shall die there: and if we sit still here, we die also. Now therefore come, and let us fall unto the host of the Syrians: if they save us alive, we shall live; and if they kill us, we shall but die.”

…From yesterday…

Hebrews 10:38 “Now the just shall live by faith…”

We are called to a life of faith and faith means daring.

It means taking steps for God to back you up. God always wait for us to act before He moves. He does this to check to be sure that we trust and rely on Him absolutely.

If what you are about to do is not scary enough to involve God, He is probably not interested. He does this so that at the end of the day He can take all the glory. 

A bible teacher said when Peter was walking on the water, it was only where he placed his leg that becomes solid ground, everywhere else was still watter. That is the law of faith. You don’t need to see a long pathway of solid ground on the sea before you move. The solid ground will appear as you take steps. 

The size of your daring determines the size of your success and victory on earth. You’ve got to move despite fear.

All the folks we read about in Hebrews 11, the Hall of Fame of faith were all the most daring men and women in all of history. 

Hebrews 11:33 “Who through faith subdued kingdoms, wrought righteousness, obtained promises, stopped the mouths of lions,”

Hebrews 11:34 “Quenched the violence of fire, escaped the edge of the sword, out of weakness were made strong, waxed valiant in fight, turned to flight the armies of the aliens.”

Here is the interesting part, they were men like you and I. This are not superheroes or superhuman, they’re simply your every day people who took a dare!

Beloved, you have probably remained in that mess because God has been waiting for you to become daring. 

There is only one way to become daring, just MOVE!
