​A visit to the Ants-10

Proverbs 6:6 “Go to the ant, thou sluggard; consider her ways, and be wise:”

…From yesterday… 

His son Jesus Christ also came with the same mandate and said:

Mark 16:14 “Afterward he appeared unto the eleven as they sat at meat and upbraided them with their unbelief and hardness of heart, because they believed not them which had seen him after he was risen”

Mark 16:15 “And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.”

Jesus held a crucial meeting with his eleven disciples before departing earth and instructed them to go preach the gospel to every creature! Every creature, not just every human. That seeems like an herculean task. 

How can eleven men preach to several million humans and other creatures? Well, the same way one man and one woman gave birth to the several millions. The big picture principle! 

Today, we are yet to recover from the effect of the revolution started by those eleven men. Despite the fact that some of them were uneducated all they could see was the whole world, and even though they are long gone, they are still preaching. That’s big picture thinking.

So, how do I become a big picture thinker?

Simply stop comparing your dreams to your capacity and size, compare it to the size of God. Also, stop thinking local and start thinking global. 

Genesis 15:3 “And Abram said, Behold, to me thou hast given no seed: and, lo, one born in my house is mine heir.”

Genesis 15:5 “And he brought him forth abroad, and said, Look now toward heaven, and tell the stars, if thou be able to number them: and he said unto him, So shall thy seed be.”

Abraham was thinking of just a seed, God was thinking of an entire global family. Align your dreams with His own.

What big dreams do you have for your future? Pursue those. No matter how small you think you are, you should always pursue something bigger than yourself. Think at the frequency of God!
