​A visit to the Ants-7

Proverbs 6:6 “Go to the ant, thou sluggard; consider her ways, and be wise:”

Proverbs 6:6 “Take a lesson from the ants, you lazybones. Learn from their ways and become wise!” (NLT)

Today, we are going to be learning yet another lesson from the ant and I call this one “Planning”.

Someone said, “If you fail to plan, you have already planned to fail”. These seemingly infinitesimal ants don’t do things anyhow, they actually plan and strategize. Hear this:

Proverbs 6:8 “Provideth her meat in the summer, [and] gathereth her food in the harvest.”

The ants know when and how to store up food in their colony. They know when to go out to gather resources so that they don’t ever lack.

This is an attitude that is lacking in many humans. It is man that always do things as if there is no tomorrow. Most humans lived their lives recklessly and blame others and even God for the outcome of their lives.

But guess what? Even God plans!

If you study the story of creation and you look at the “Eco System”, you will agree it was a masterpiece designed by a Mastermind. God didn’t create fish before water. He didn’t create plants until their was good soil. God was meticulous in planning every detail of creation. No wonder He said:

Jeremiah 29:11 “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”

God have plans and He also said their is a planning that leads to prosperity and a great future. Wealth and prosperity are products of planning, they don’t just jump on people. 

Someone said, “It was not raining, when Noah built the Ark,” Noah knew rain was coming which will lead to flood, so he settled down and hatched an escape plan long before the rains.

Jesus came and also made a serious statement about planning:
