Another principle that David used to handle Eliab is what I call locating your destiny helpers. David turned away from Eliab to look for someone that will believe in his dream. He searched for dream encouragers or supporters. 

The bible said, “And he turned from him TOWARD ANOTHER”. He ignored and left Eliab but didn’t leave his dream. He simply turned towards another. He moved towards the people who are ready to encourage and push him towards his destiny fulfilment.

Never give up on your dream. Locate your destiny helpers. David kept announcing his dream to encouragers till the news finally got to Saul.

Keep pursing your dreams till you come in contact with the right people who will announce it before the highest authority. 

The good news is that; the Eliabs don’t have the final say in this matter. They may rant as much as they want but as far as the realization of your dreams and fulfilment of your assignment is concerned; their opinion is irrelevant. 

The word “turned from” as used here, in the Hebrew means “to move away or aside from an environment or location”. Which means David didn’t just turn away from Eliab, he equally moved away from Eliab’s environment. 

It is not enough to turn away from Eliab, you must move away from his vicinity. Stay far away from environments that will discourage you. Why must you stay in a place where all they tell you is how it cannot be done?

I pray that God brings your news into the ears of the right man or woman that He has destined for your lifting in Jesus name.
