​Lame excuses-2 

Judges 6: 15 “And he said unto him, Oh my Lord, wherewith shall I save Israel? behold, my family is poor in Manasseh, and I am the least in my father’s house.”

…From yesterday…

Beloved, God knows we will give such an excuse in future that was why he made sure Jesus was born in a manger, not in the king’s palace nursed by the best doctors and pediatrician. 

If Jesus can rise to become so prominent in his days, discussing with the wealthiest, consulted by the most powerful, who says you cannot defy all odds and get to the top?

The second excuse Gideon gave was lack of funds. Many people will never start anything because there is no money. Beloved, God didn’t create money, man did. God didn’t ask us to live by money he simply asked us to live by faith

If you live by faith especially “seed faith”, God will meet your needs. If money is involved He sure knows how to get it across to you. I have since learnt that God can get so many things done for you, through you and by you without money passing through your hands! 

I concluded that it is not about funds, it is about faith in the Creator of heaven and earth; the God who created the resources you want, the men who have them and even the men with the money. I would rather talk to HIM!

The third excuse of Gideon was lack of qualification, “I am the least in my father’s house”. I am sure that sound like someone reading Lift today.

A quick glance at the list of the world’s richest and most influential men and women shows you a collection of some of the most unlearned men on earth. 

Check the list and you’ll discover it is filled with school dropouts, average students, uneducated folks, frustrated students, nobodies and so on.

Who told you your qualifications will not make you fulfil God’s divine assignment?
