Judges 6: 14 “And the LORD looked upon him, and said Go in this thy might, and thou shalt save Israel from the hand of the Midianites: have not I sent thee?”

Judges 6:16 “And the LORD said unto him, Surely I will be with thee, and thou shalt smite the Midianites AS ONE MAN.”

Stand up and fight your fight. Remember, the enemy you conquer takes you into a new season of favour and blessings. 

There are two things an enemy will do to a man. It will either promote him or destroy him. Every greatness a man achieves in life is traceable to an enemy he conquered. Every failure a man experience is also traceable to an enemy that conquered him. 

When we talk of David even to a four year old Sunday school pupil he mentions Goliath. David’s notable enemy was Goliath, it was his conquest of the giant that promoted him to the palace. A notable enemy will bring you into prominence.

In the same vein, mention Samson to the same four year old pupil and he will shout Delilah! Samson’s failure can easily be traced to an enemy that conquered him.

Beloved, fight your “one man fight” and change your season. For some, there one man battle is poverty. Perhaps, nobody has ever been rich in your lineage, don’t accept it and pass it down to your children. If conquering poverty will be the only legacy you will leave for your children, so be it.

Friend, let everything that is not of God stop in your own life. Be a pacesetter for the generations yet unborn. 

Let me share something the Holy Spirit showed me with you:

Joshua 11:21 “And at that time came Joshua, and cut off the Anakims from the mountains, from Hebron, from Debir, from Anab, and from all the mountains of Judah, and from all the mountains of Israel: Joshua destroyed them utterly with their cities.”
