Judges 6: 14 “…thou shalt save Israel from the hand of the Midianites: have not I sent thee?”

Judges 6:16 “And the LORD said unto him, Surely I will be with thee, and thou shalt smite the Midianites AS ONE MAN.”

…From yesterday.

The children of Anak were tailor made for Caleb. Remove them from his life and Caleb ends up without an inheritance in the Promised Land.

Potiphar’s “pretty” wife was tailor made for Joseph. Remove her from his life and you’ll have to remove the prison and the throne. As a matter of fact, Joseph’s brothers were custom made for him. 

Nobody could fight them for him in the desert, He had to confront the battle alone. Remove his brothers from his life and you probably have a “spoilt” Hebrew boy tending a herd of sheep all his life.

Friend, which battle are you supposed to confront as “one man”? There are examinations you must write alone. Your teachers are often quiet during exams and in the same vein, there are examinations in life which you must write alone.

Jesus once cried out, “…saying Eloi, Eloi, lama sabachthani? which is being interpreted My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?” (Mark 15:34)

Jesus had to face that examination alone; he faced it as one man. It was his passing the exam that gave him a name that is above every other name.

The problem is this, if you don’t face your custom made challenge, you will keep a lot of people down. Your victory is not just about you, others are tied to it as well. Hear this:

Romans 8:19 “For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God.” 

People are waiting for your manifestation so that the works of the devil and the oppression upon their lives can be destroyed. 

Stand up and fight your fight. Remember, the enemy you conquer takes you into a new season of favour and blessings.
