Past Testimonies-3

Judges 6:8 “That the LORD sent a prophet unto the children of Israel, which said unto them, Thus saith the LORD God of Israel, I brought you up from Egypt, and brought you forth out of the house of bondage;”

Judges 6:9 “And I delivered you out of the hand of the Egyptians, and out of the hand of all that oppressed you, and drave them out from before you, and gave you their land;”

…From yesterday…

Friend, when challenges and encampment of the devil comes against you; start declaring the “words of your testimony” as well.

Don’t switch to panic mode. Keep your hands off the panic button and begin to recall the previous deeds of God in your life.

God loves to hear you declare it. He wants you to let the devil and the whole world know what He has done. He craves for it and it stirs Him up to do more. No wonder, David said:

Psalms 44:1 “We have heard with our ears, O God, our fathers have told us, what work thou didst in their days, in the times of old.”

David understood this principle so well and he doesn’t go into battle without first recalling the previous acts of God. He knew God loves hearing it and he never stopped saying it to Him, no wonder he fought 66 battles and lost none.

When he met Goliath, he didn’t rush into battle; he first declared the “words of his testimony”. He told of how God helped him defeat the lion and the bear before confronting the next challenge which was Goliath (1Samuel 17:34, 36).

Beloved, when last did you recall God’s previous wonders in your life?

In case you can’t recall any, start by telling Him, you are grateful because He woke you up this morning! That should always come in handy.

God loves hearing the words of our testimony but the devil want you to forget them simply because he lost.

So, outsmart the devil and get God on your side.

Love you BiG
