Judges 6:4 “And they encamped against them, and destroyed the increase of the earth, till thou come unto Gaza, and left no sustenance for Israel, neither sheep, nor ox, nor ass.”
The encampment of the enemy can force a man into making decisions today that will have grave consequences tomorrow. This is why you must have enough spiritual sensitivity to discern a satanic encampment around your life and destiny.
Let me quickly show you another Israelite”s reaction to an encampment.
2 Kings 6:14 “Therefore sent he thither horses, and chariots, and a great host: and they came by night, and compassed the city about.”
2 Kings 6:15 “And when the servant of the man of God was risen early, and gone forth, behold, an host compassed the city both with horses and chariots. And his servant said unto him, Alas, my master! how shall we do?”
In this scenario, the king of Syria sent soldiers to encamp around Prophet Elisha and his servant. They woke up one morning and discovered they were totally surrounded and the servant cried out, he said, “…Alas, my master! how shall we do?”
That’s the question that always pops up in an encampment. That was what happened latter on in 2 kings 6, that made those women ate their future. Elisha didn’t allow the enemy push him into that zone, but gave a correct response. Hear him:
2 Kings 6:16 “And he answered, Fear not: for they that [be] with us [are] more than they that [be] with them.”
The first thing to do in an encampment is to remain calm, refusing to give in to fear. The greatest weapon of the enemy is fear. Once he drives a man into that zone he has an upper hand. Never allow the enemy paralyse you with fear.
Someone said, “F.E.A.R. can either mean, False Evidence Appearing Real or Face Everything And Rise”.
Friend, never allow the enemy paralyse you mentally and physically with fear.
