Half-time -7

Job 42: 12 “So the LORD blessed the latter end of Job more than his beginning…”

…From yesterday…

Beloved, if the second half must cancel out the negativity, regrets and failures of the first half or sustain the winning tempo of the first half, you must be a man or woman that feeds regularly on bread. Not just that, you must surround yourself with lovers of the “Bread of life” as well.

Proverbs 19:20 “Hear counsel, and receive instruction, that thou mayest be wise in thy latter end.”

King Solomon said that to make your second half a winning half, you must hear counsel and receive instructions. One major thing to pick from God’s word are instructions and godly counsel to run with. It doesn’t matter the errors of the first half, one counsel from the Holy Spirit, our Super Coach is enough to turn things around.

Why do I need the Holy Spirit’s counsel? Solomon gave the answer:

Proverbs 19:21 “There are many devices in a man’s heart; nevertheless the counsel of the LORD, that shall stand”

He said we have many dreams which we want to execute, but the one from God is the one that puts us on the winning path. To win, simply pick His counsel and you will never get it wrong.

Hear this counsel from our Super Coach:

Ecclesiastes 7:14 “In the day of prosperity be joyful, but in the day of adversity CONSIDER…”

He said in the day of adversity consider. The Hebrew word for “Consider” means discern, think and advise self.

If the first half of 2017 has been rough and not what you expect, sit back and discern what could be causing the problem; think deep and advise yourself.

If the first half has been great, hear this as well:

1Corinthians 10:12 “Wherefore let him that thinketh he standeth take heed lest he fall”

Still reassess the situation. What are you doing right? Then continue doing it. Think, discern and advise yourself as well. 2017 will be our best year yet in Jesus name!

Love you BiG
