​Why is this happening to me?-12​

Genesis 25:22 “But the two children struggled with each other in her womb. So she went to ask the Lord about it. “Why is this happening to me?” she asked.” (NLT)

Genesis 25:22 “But the children struggled together within her; and she said, “If [all is] well, why [am I] [like] this?|” So she went to inquire of the LORD.” (NKJV)

…From yesterday…

Friend, I have news for you: You are not the first person to find himself in a valley of “very dry bones”, a place of complete hopelessness. Ezekiel and the children of Israel were there long before you came. Everything about them had dried up, family, career, finances, land, relationships, government, etc. all dried up. But guess what?

Ezekiel 37: 10 “So I prophesied as he commanded me, and the breath came into them, and they lived and stood up upon their feet, AN EXCEEDING GREAT ARMY.”

Ezekiel 37: 11 “Then he said unto me, Son of man, these bones are the whole house of Israel: behold, they say Our bones are dried and our hope is lost we are cut off for our parts.”

Friend, everything appears dry now because it was designed to be AN EXCEEDING GREAT ARMY (Business, Career, Finances, Family, Academic exploit, Church, Ministry, etc).

It is dry now because it has the capacity for GREATNESS! I want you to relax and cheer up; things are like this presently because of how great they can be.

Have you been betrayed, battered, stabbed in the back, lied against, taken far away from comfort, thrown into prison, etc. Probably your dreams were stolen and it seems your destiny has been truncated, perhaps you’re asking the same question, Why is this happening to me? 

Well, you’re equally not alone, let’s look up some answers:

Genesis 37: 19 “And they said one to another, Behold, this dreamer cometh”

Genesis 37: 20 “Come now therefore, and let us slay him, and cast him into some pit, and we will say Some evil beast hath devoured him: and we shall see what will become of his dreams.”
