​Why is this happening to me?-10

Genesis 25:22 “But the two children struggled with each other in her womb. So she went to ask the Lord about it. “Why is this happening to me?” she asked.” (NLT)

Genesis 25:22 “But the children struggled together within her; and she said, “If [all is] well, why [am I] [like] this?|” So she went to inquire of the LORD.” (NKJV)

Several of life’s probing questions have been answered already in the holy bible. All you need to do is pick up your closed bible and seek out answers. 

The primary way God speaks to us is through his documented Word. How will you say God has not spoken when your bible is closed? God is always speaking; the question is, are you hearing?

Rebecca asked and the “LORD said unto her, Two nations are in thy womb” (Genesis 25: 23).

He/she that asks receives! 

Matthew 7:8 “For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.”

Let’s attempt to answer some of those probing questions from the word:

Are you currently like Hannah?

1Samuel 1: 10 “And she was in bitterness of soul, and prayed unto the LORD, and wept sore”

Are you in bitterness of soul and weeping because you don’t have a child after several years of marriage? Probably you’re asking, “Why is this happening to me?”

Guess what? It is because of Samuel, his brothers and sisters!

1Samuel 3:19 “And Samuel grew and the LORD was with him, and did let none of his words fall to the ground.”

Till date, Israel is yet to have another prophet in the mold of Samuel, save our Lord Jesus Christ. Samuel was a raw prophet to the core and every word he said came to pass. Not one of his words failed. 

If Hannah had known she wouldn’t have been as sorrowful as she was. Her struggles were all about the coming of the great Prophet Samuel. Not only that, hear this:
